In the first two months of 2019 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased, whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project decreased.

Data refer to enterprises in which the number of persons employed is 50 and more, which keep books of account. Data do not include agriculture, forestry, fishing, financial and insurance activities as well as higher education institutions.

In February of 2019 value of construction and assembly production in constant prices increased, both in a monthly and increasing basis, compared to corresponding periods of the previous year.

In February 2019 retail sales at constant prices were by 5.6% higher than the year before (against a growth of 7.7% in February 2018). Compared with January 2019 retail sales decreased by 3.2%.
