In August 2022, average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared to August 2021 was higher by 2.4% y/y and amounted to 6502.6 thousand full-time equivalents. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment decreased minimally (by 0.1%).

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in August 2022 in comparison with the previous month (by 1.9%) as well as while compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (by 56.3%).

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in August 2022 increased compared to July 2022 by 0.8% and compared to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year - by 25.5%.

In August 2022, sold production of industry was by 10.9% higher than in August 2021, when an increase was recorded by 13.0% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with July 2022, it increased by 0.7%. In the period January-August of 2022, sold production of industry was by 12.9% higher than in the corresponding period of 2021, which saw an increase by 16.4%.

According to preliminary data, in August 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 13.8%, and in comparison with July 2022 - by 0.8%.
