The demand for labour in the second quarter of 2022
At the end of the second quarter of 2022, there were 149.3 thousand job vacancies in Poland, 4.5% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Over the year, the number of newly created jobs decreased (by 6.8%), whereas the number of jobs liquidated increased (by 12.6%). In the second quarter of 2022, there were 2.1 newly created jobs per liquidated job.

The impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on selected elements of the labour market in Poland in the second quarter of 2022
In May 2022, the state of epidemic in relation to SARS-CoV-2 virus infections was cancelled in Poland. At the same time, the state of epidemic threat was announced, which will be in force until further notice.

As at the end of August 2022 the REGON register included 4 939.1 thous. of national economy entities, i.e. by 0.4% more than a month before (3.3% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year).

Producer price indices for business services in the second quarter of 2022
In the second quarter of 2022, the producer prices for business services increased compared to the previous quarter by 2.5% and compared to the second quarter of 2021 by 6.8%.
