Foreign trade turnover in January – April 2021 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 408.4 bn, while in imports - PLN 392.3 bn.

Consumer prices in May 2021, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 4,7% (with an increase of prices of services by 6,8% and goods by o 4,1%).

Statistics Poland informs that the price index of consumer goods and services in May 2021 as related to April 2021 amounted to 100.3 (price increase of 0.3%).

As of 31 December 2020, 1,215.3 thousand people were enrolled in higher education institutions in Poland, by 11.3 thousand more than in the previous year. In the 2019/20 academic year, 293.4 thousand graduates received diplomas, by 20.4 thousand fewer than in the 2018/19 academic year.

In December 2020, in Mazowieckie Voivodship there was a decrease in the number of cattle and an increase in the number of pigs in annual terms. Compared to 2019, the number of sheep increased. In 2020, the procurement prices of wheat, cattle for slaughter and milk on the agricultural market were higher. On the other hand, the prices of rye, potatoes, pigs and poultry for slaughter were lower.
