Foreign trade turnover in January-February 2023 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 267.0 bn, while in imports - PLN 244.0 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 23.0 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 5.1 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2022 exports increased by 13.0%, while imports by 1.0%.

Consumer prices in March 2023, compared with the corresponding month of the previ-ous year, increased by 16,1% (with an increase of prices of goods – by 17,1% and services – by 13,3%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 1,1% (of which goods – by 1,2% and services – by 0,8%).

Total growth of gross domestic product at constant prices for 2017-2022 was 128.1.

Based on Article 38b point 3 of the Act of 27 August 2009 on public finances (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 305, as amended[1]) it is announced that the medium-term rate of gross domestic product index at current prices amounted to 105.99.
