Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-September 2017

From January to September of 2017, exports at current prices amounted to PLN 640 646.3 mln, while imports amounted to PLN 632 621.6 mln. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 8 024.7 mln, while in the previous year PLN 13 050.4 mln. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2016, exports increased by 8.1% and imports by 9.2%.

In the 3rd quarter of 2017 seasonally adjusted GDP (constant prices, reference year 2010) was higher by 1.1% than in the previous quarter and 5.0% higher than in the 2nd quarter of the previous year.

Retirement and other pensions in 2016

It presents changes in the number of persons receiving benefi ts, gross amounts of benefi ts and the average gross amount of benefi ts by types (retirement pays, pensions resulting from the inability to work and family pensions), the dynamics of the observed changes and the relation to average monthly wages and salaries within the non-agricultural social security system (the integration of data from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), the Ministry of National Defence (MON), the Ministry of the Interior (MSW) and the Ministry of Justice (MS)), as well as the social insurance system for farmers (data from the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS)). It provides the comparison of the average retirement pay and disposable income of households of retirees with social and subsistence minimum. The general characteristics of households of retired persons and retirees is also included.

Housing construction in the period of January-October 2017

In the period of ten months of 2017 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.

In October of 2017, sold production of industry was by 12.3% higher than in October of 2016, whereas an increase of 20.3% was reported in construction-assembly production.

The publication presents provisional data on the employed, unemployed, and economically inactive gathered from the sample Labour Force Survey in the 3rd quarter of 2017 as compared to the results of the surveys conducted in the 3rd quarter of 2015 and 2016 and 2nd quarter of 2017.

Business tendency survey in industry, construction, trade and services 2000-2017

Assessment of the situation of industrial, construction, trade and service enterprises is based upon the subjective opinions of actual and forecasted business situation expressed by the directors of the surveyed companies. Results are presented in the form of monthly, quarterly and semi-annual data bases of indicators of the business cycles, supplemented with description of survey methodology.

It provides a short-term analysis of phenomena and processes in the national economy, including monthly, quarterly and annual information, among others, on the labour market, prices, wages and salaries, basic areas of the national economy (agriculture, industry, construction, the domestic market, transport), foreign trade, money supply and public finances.

Housing economy in 2016

It describes the condition of dwelling stocks and housing conditions, including technical and sanitary equipment of dwellings, as well as privatisation processes, arrears in rental payment and in repayment of housing loans in housing co-operatives, eviction actions, renovations of apartments in residential buildings by forms of ownership, i.e. gminas, housing cooperatives, the State Treasury, employers, social construction companies and housing communities. Land owned by gminas designated for housing construction and housing allowances paid in 2013 by gminas to the users of residential premises are also included.
