Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in September 2018, compared with the previous month, increased by 0,2% (price index 100,2), and compared with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 1,8% (price index 101,8).

Statistical atlas of zachodniopomorskie voivodship

Published for the first time the "Statistical Atlas of the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship", was prepared on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Statistics Poland which has been celebrated in 2018. In this unique study, a broad spectrum of graphic data presentation methods was used to illustrate the socio-economic development of the region and the diversity of phenomena in spatial terms. The Atlas presents information on human capital, quality of life, economy and environment by gminas, powiats, voivodships (selected data also covers NUTS 2 regions of the European Union).

Foreign trade turnover1 in January – August this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 607.7 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 615.8 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 8.1 bn, while in the same period last year it was positive and amounted to PLN 4.4 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2017, exports increased by 5.4%, and imports by 7.7%.

Consumer prices in September 2018, compared with the previous month, increased by 0,2% (of which goods – by 0,5%, with a decrease of prices of services – by 0,5%). Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 1,9% (of which goods – by 2,0% and services – by 1,5%).

According to preliminary data in September 2018 the prices of sold production of industry as well as construction and assembly production were by 0.4 % higher in comparison to the August 2018.

In September of 2018, sold production of industry was by 2.8% higher than in September of 2017, whereas an increase of 16.4% was reported in construction-assembly production. In the period January-September of 2018, sold production of industry was by 6.0% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 6.0% increase, whereas construction-assembly production was by 19.8% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 12.9% increase.
