In 2018, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Statistic Poland, we submit to you the Statistical Atlas of Poland. The publication illustrates in a cartographic manner the development of the country, in close connection with regional and local conditions, as well as the situation in the European Union and in the world. The social, economic, environmental and territorial dimensions included in the study are support for spatial analyses conducted to monitor the implementation of public policy objectives. Issues related to human capital, in connection with the quality of life of society, depict the social dimension of the cohesion policy. The economic aspect involves creation of financial and economic potential and their impact on competitive and sustainable development, also in the environmental context. Statistical maps are supplemented by administrative and political maps of Poland and Europe, as well as maps presenting statistical and functional divisions used by public statistics.
