At the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, there were 137.4 thousand job vacancies in Poland, 62.8% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. During the fourth quarter, an annual increase (over 20%) in both the number of newly created jobs and liquidated jobs also occurred. In the fourth quarter of 2021, there were 1.7 newly created jobs per liquidated job.

In March 2020, the state of epidemic threat was anno-unced in Poland, followed by the state of epidemic in connection with the spread of an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, named COVID-19.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the producer prices for business services increased by 0.9% compared to the previous quarter. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2020, the prices increased by 3.4%.
