Foreign trade turnover in total and by countries January - July 2015
In the period of January – July 2015, exports at current prices amounted to PLN 422790.3 mln, while imports amounted to PLN 414716.1 mln. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 8074.2 mln, while in the previous year minus PLN 6185.8 mln. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2014, exports increased by 5.9% and imports by 2.3%.

In August of 2015, sold production of industry was by 5.3% higher than in August of 2014, whereas an increase of 4.8% was reported in construction-assembly production.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in August 2015 were of 0.7% lower than in the previous month. The drop of prices was recorded in mining and quarrying of 1.7%, of which in mining of metal ores (of 6.9%), but the growth was recorded in mining of coal and lignite (by 1.6%). The drop of prices was also recorded in manufacturing of 0.7%, of which the biggest in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (of 9.4%).

Employment, wages and salaries in national economy in 1st half 2015
In the first half of 2015, average monthly gross wages and salaries in the national economy amounted to 3953.72 zl, i.e. at the level higher by 3.6% than in the same period of the last year. In the public sector they amounted to 4481.42 zl (an increase by 2.5% as compared to the same period of the last year), while in the private sector they amounted to 3721.11 zl (an increase by 4.2%)
