In 2024, the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final energy consumption amounted to 17.7%, which constitute an decrease of 1.0 percentage points compared to 2023. At the same time, the power sector recorded an increase of 4.6 percentage points in the share of electricity from renewable energy sources in gross final energy consumption compared to the previous year.

In the third quarter of 2025, there were 2 875 994 active enterprises in Poland. With regard to the kind of economic activity, the largest population were enterprises from section trade; repair of motor vehicles (17.2% of total). The largest number of active enterprises had their registered offices in the Mazowieckie voivodship (20.1% of total).
