In April 2025, the median monthly gross wage and salary in the national economy in Poland was 20.6% lower than the average monthly gross wage and salary in that month.

Compared to the previous year, households saw a greater increase in expenditure than in available income, an increase in consumption of most basic food products, and an improvement in household equipment with durable goods. The subjective assessment of households' financial situation improved.
