According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in February 2023 decreased compared to January 2023 by 0.4% and compared to that recorded in the cor-responding month of the previous year increased by 18.4%.

In February 2023, average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared to February 2022 was higher by 0.8% y/y and amounted to 6526.3 thousand full-time equivalents. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment decreased minimally (by 0.1%).

Consumer prices in February 2023, compared with the corresponding month of the pre-vious year, increased by 18,4% (with an increase of prices of goods – by 20,2% and services – by 13,3%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 1,2% (of which services – by 1,6% and goods – by 1,1%).

Foreign trade turnover in January 2023 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 131.1 bn, while in imports - PLN 124.3 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 6.8 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 0.7 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2022 exports increased by 12.0%, while imports by 5.6%.

In 2022, the financial results of cultural institutions increased compared to the previous year. Total revenues increased by 18.1% and investment outlays by 25.1%.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the producer prices for business services increased compared to the previous quarter by 1.1% and compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 by 8.0%.
