The presented publication has been prepared on the basis of the results of the survey on working conditions. The issue of working conditions is very important from the point of view of the health of the whole society, as well as for implementation the employers’ obligations to ensure appropriate working conditions, in accordance with obligatory standards.

According to the preliminary data, sold production of industry in constant prices (in enterprises employing more than 9 persons), in April of 2014, was by 5.4% higher than in the previous year and by 2.3% lower than in March of 2014.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in April 2014 were of 0.1% lower than in the previous month. The highest drop of prices was recorded in mining and quarrying (of 0.7%), of which in mining of coal and lignite (of 1.7%), but the growth was recorded in mining of metal ores (by 0.2%).

According to preliminary data, in the period of January-April 2014, 46889 dwellings were completed, i.e. by 1.8% less than in the corresponding period of 2013 (in which an increase by 0.8% was recorded) and by 1.0% less than in 2012 respectively.
