This elaboration, entitled “Quality of Life. Social Capital, Poverty and Social Exclusion in Poland”, contains the analysis of the results of a new multi-purpose and comprehensive household questionnaire survey, entitled “Social Cohesion Survey”, implemented by the Central Statistical Office (CSO) in 2011. The survey refers to several national and international initiatives aimed at expanding the statistical information resources in order to allow a reliable diagnosis of many aspects of the quality of life, as recommended, among others, in the Stiglitz-Sen-Fitoussi Report.

It describes working persons, employed persons and their nominal and real wages and salaries, as well as time worked, and licences for work issued to foreigners

It provides the number of working persons and the number and structure of vacancies, including new jobs, as well as information on liquidated workplaces.

These supply and use tables form part of the system of national accounts compiled according to the SNA/ESA methodology. They play a particularly significant role of a detailed database for the products and services supply and use analysis, providing grounds for the work on the remaining accounts.
