Price index of construction and assembly production in the second quarter of 2017 compared to the first quarter of 2017 have increased by 0.1%.

In July of 2017, sold production of industry was by 6.2% higher than in July of 2016, whereas an increase of 19.8% was reported in construction-assembly production. In the period January - July of 2017, sold production of industry was by 5.8% higher than in the corresponding period of 2016 which saw a 3.2% increase, whereas construction-assembly production was by 10.6% higher than in the corresponding period of 2016 which saw a 13.8% decrease.

In the period of seven months of 2017 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.

In the 2nd quarter of 2017 seasonally adjusted GDP (constant prices, reference year 2010) was higher by 1.1% than in the previous quarter and 4.4% higher than in the 2nd quarter of the previous year. Seasonally unadjusted GDP (constant average prices of the previous year) was higher by 3.9% than in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
