Price of one square meter of usable floor space of a residential building in the second quarter of 2019 was PLN 4484.

In July 2019 retail sales1 at constant prices were by 5.7% higher than the year before (against a growth of 7.1% in July 2018). Compared with June 2019 retail sales increased by 2.1%.

According to preliminary data in July 2019 the prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 0.2% in comparison with previous month and by 3.5% in comparison with July 2018.

In July 2019, sold production of industry was by 5.8% higher than in July 2018, when the growth was recorded by 10.3%, whereas in comparison with June 2019, it increased by 2.8%. In the period January-July of 2019, sold production of industry was by 5.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2018, when an increase of 6.7% was recorded.

In July of 2019 value of construction and assembly production in constant prices increased, both in a monthly and increasing basis, compared to corresponding periods of the previous year.

According to preliminary data in July 2019 the prices of sold production of industry were higher in comparison with the previous month by 0.1%. In comparison with the corresponding period of the last year the prices increased by 0.6%.

In the period of seven months of 2019 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings in which construction has begun and the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project also increased.
