Price index of construction and assembly production in the third quarter of 2018 compared to the second quarter of 2018 have increased by 1.0%.

According to preliminary data in October 2018 the prices of sold production of industry as well as construction and assembly production were by 0.5 % higher in comparison to the September 2018.

In October of 2018, sold production of industry was by 7.4% higher than in October of 2017, whereas an increase of 22.4% was reported in construction-assembly production.

In October 2018, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 3.2% y/y and amounted to 6227.3 thousand, and average gross wages and salaries were higher by 7.6% y/y and amounted to 4921.39 zl.

In the period of first ten months of 2018 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.
