We present a following news release, which contains preliminary results of the National Census of Population and Housing 2021 in terms of education level.

Seasonally unadjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the 1st quarter of 2022 was higher by 8.5% year-on-year comparision against the decrease of 0.6% in the corresponding quarter of 2021 (constant average prices of the previous year).

In 2021 the number of institutional care facilities for children up to age of 3 increased by 9.6% compared to the previous year. There were 5.0 thousand nurseries, children’s clubs and nursery wards, which had 191.6 thousand places. The indicator of the number of children up to age of 3 per 1 thousand population increased from 128 in 2020 to 155 in 2021.

Price index of investment goods for the first quarter of 2022 (related to the fourth quarter of 2021) was 103,7 (the prices increased by 3,7%).

Price index of market agricultural output in 2021 as related to 2020 was 106.0 (the prices increased by 6 %).

Price of one square meter of usable floor space of a residential building in the first quarter of 2022 was PLN 5252.

In April 2022 entities having 50 or more persons employed and participating in the monthly survey of production of industrial products, reported production of 12 363 980 face masks used in medicine and 6 422 665 other protective face masks.
