At the end of the second quarter of 2022, there were 149.3 thousand job vacancies in Poland, 4.5% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Over the year, the number of newly created jobs decreased (by 6.8%), whereas the number of jobs liquidated increased (by 12.6%). In the second quarter of 2022, there were 2.1 newly created jobs per liquidated job.

In 2021 domestic deliveries of meat (including pork, beef, veal and poultry meat) amounted to 4348 thousand tons and were higher by 3.7% compared to the previous year. The deliveries of both raw meat from animals for slaughter (by 5.4%) and poultry meat (by 1.3%) increased.

The amount of outlays on fixed assets for environmental protection in 2021 amounted to approx. PLN 12.4 billion (compared to PLN 11.4 billion in 2020), and outlays on fixed assets for water management reached the level of approx. PLN 3.3 billion (PLN 2.7 billion in 2020). In 2021, outlays on environmental protection and water management accounted for 0.47% and 0.12% of GDP, respectively (0.49% and 0.11% in 2020, respectively).

Communique/Announcements Price of one square meter of usable floor space of a residential building in the second quarter of 2022

On the basis of Article 3b paragraph 4 of the Act of 30 November 1995 on the State aid in the repayment of some housing credits, granting guarantee premiums and refundations of the paid guarantee premiums to the banks (Journal of Laws 2022 item 1202 and 1561) it is announced that the price of a square metre of usable floor space of a residential building for the second quarter of 2022 amounted to PLN 5020.
