In December the assessments of general business climate indicator remain negative in most of presented kinds of activities. In all areas it is below the long-term mean. In majority of areas “forecast” components do not change or worsen, while “diagnostic” ones do not change.

In Poland, in the third quarter of 2022, the state of epidemic threat in connection with SARS-CoV-2 infections was still in force. Despite the cancellation of the state of epidemic, there are still solutions in force to prevent and counter the spread of the said virus.

At the end of the third quarter of 2022, there were 135.5 thousand job vacancies in Poland, 11.7% fewer than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Over the year, the number of newly created jobs decreased (by 9.1%), whereas the number of jobs liquidated increased (by 24.0%). In the third quarter of 2022, there were 1.7 newly created jobs per liquidated job.

In November the assessments of general business climate indicator remain negative in most of presented kinds of activities.

In most of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in October is at a lower level as compared to the previous month.

In the first half of 2022 financial results of cultural institutions were higher in comparison to results obtained in the corresponding period of the previous year. Total revenues increased by 23,2% during this period. Investment outlays increased by 24.5%.

In most of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in September is at a similar or lower level as compared to the previous month.

In May 2022, the state of epidemic in relation to SARS-CoV-2 virus infections was cancelled in Poland. At the same time, the state of epidemic threat was announced, which will be in force until further notice.

At the end of the second quarter of 2022, there were 149.3 thousand job vacancies in Poland, 4.5% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Over the year, the number of newly created jobs decreased (by 6.8%), whereas the number of jobs liquidated increased (by 12.6%). In the second quarter of 2022, there were 2.1 newly created jobs per liquidated job.

In all of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in August is at a similar or lower level as compared to the previous month. In all of researched areas “diagnostic” components do not change or worsen, whereas in the case of “forecast” ones they differ depending on area of economy.
