The most comprehensive publication of Statistics Poland with key statistical data on Poland, as well as major regional differences and international comparisons. The presented data enable a complex description of the socio-economic situation of the country including retrospective comparisons. It is a compendium of information on, among others, population, labour market, education, living conditions, economy and business, as well as environment and natural resources, reflecting a rich collection of statistics gathered and shared by official statistics.

On 14 April 2021, the pdf file of the "Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Poland 2020" was modified:

• in the chapter "Public finances" on page 647, in the table 2 (534) second row from the bottom of the fourth column, the value of the income of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009‒2014 was corrected (from 13020,1 to 13,0) and also its share in the total revenue (from 17,7 to 0,0).
• in the chapter "National accounts" on page 695, in the table 1 (561) sixth row from the top of the second column, the net value added was corrected (from 13902934 to 1390293).

On 4 October 2021, the pdf file of the "Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Poland 2020" was modified:

• Data concerning the number of places in pre-primary education establishments and the number of children in nursery schools per 100 places for 2019/20 presented in the table I "Major data on the socio-economic situation of the country" (page 45) and in the table 33 (271) "Pre-primary education" (page 371) may be flawed by inconsistent information coming from the Educational Information System (SIO).
