International trade in services by enterprise characteristics in 2022
A A AWith the rapidly growing importance of services in international trade, there is an increasing demand for information describing this phenomenon in various perspectives. Data users are increasingly interested not only in the value of international trade in services by type of service or partner country, but also in information that allows a more detailed description of the phenomenon of international trade in services than it is in the case of the regular survey of international trade in services. Breakdowns that allow for the description of enterprises involved in service trade with foreign countries are one of the interest areas.
Due to reported demand, Statistics Poland is launching regular release data on international trade in services by enterprise characteristics (STEC). The publication of STEC tables for 2022 is the first official set of final data1 which integrates data from international trade in services statistics with business statistics. The data were compiled in accordance with requirements of Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 on European business statistics, repealing 10 legal acts in the field of business statistics.
