Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in 2023

Foreign trade turnover in 2023 according to final data in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 613.4 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 568.3 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 45.1 bn, while in 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 93.2 bn. In comparison to 2022 exports decreased by 0.3%, while imports by 8.4%.
Exports expressed in USD amounted to 381.9 bn, while imports amounted to USD 371.4 bn (an increase in exports of 4.4% and a decrease in imports of 4.0%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 10.5 bn, while in 2022 year amounted to minus USD 21.2 bn.
Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 353.1 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 343.3 bn (an increase in exports of 2.0% and in imports a decrease of 6.3 %). The positive balance reached EUR 9.8 bn, compared to a negative balance of EUR 20.0 bn in 2022.
