I am pleased to present to you the Report of Statistics Poland 2023 which outlines the activities of Polish official statistics in 2023.

The purpose of this report is to showcase our work and achievements on both national and international arena. Dynamic changes in global situation required official statistics to adapt to the growing needs of data users.

In 2023, Statistics Poland pursued ambitious development goals that significantly impacted Polish statistics. We successfully implemented modern technologies in areas such as Big Data, artificial intelligence, and data analysis. These advancements allowed us to provide the most accurate and comprehensive information about society and the economy. Thanks to this, our statistics have become even more detailed and up-to-date.

Polish official statistics actively supports sustainable development and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Additionally, we strive to enhance data accessibility. In 2023, we launched the Gate of Statistics project, which aimed to facilitate access to statistical data through modern digital tools.

Our commitment extends to bringing statistics closer to people. We foster collaboration between experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of official statistics. Furthermore, we conduct open lessons for schools and organize conferences that integrate public administration, academia, and the business community.
