In 2023, more than half of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in the 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie, and Małopolskie.
In 2023, the value of the generated gross domestic product amounted to 3 415 274 million PLN. In comparison to 2022, it grew by 10.1% at current prices.
An increase in gross domestic product at current prices, compared to 2022, was recorded in all regions, the largest in Warszawski stołeczny region – by 15.3%, and the smallest in Kujawsko-pomorskie and Mazowiecki regionalny regions – by 6.2%.
