In 2021, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in the 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.
In 2021, value of the generated gross domestic product amounted to 2 631 302 million PLN.
In comparison to 2020, it grew by 12.6% at current prices.
The increase in gross domestic product at current prices compared to 2020 was recorded
in all regions, the largest in Pomorskie region – by 16.0%, and the smallest in Warszawski stołeczny region – by 10.0%.
