In 2022, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in the 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.

In 2022, the shares of individual regions in the generation of GDP ranged from 2.0% in Opolskie region to 17.6% in Warszawski stołeczny region. 

The increase in GDP per capita in current prices compared to 2021 was recorded in all regions – from 12.4% in Świętokrzyskie region to 23.2% in Mazowiecki regionalny region.
