According to the EDP notification, in 2022 the general government deficit was 5,1% of GDP, while the general government debt amounted to 49,6 % of GDP.

The data are preliminary and can be revised. Press release about general government deficit and debt covering the data verified by the European Commission (Eurostat) will be published on 22.04.2024. Information on the updated GDP estimates for 2022-2023 will be published on 18.04.2024.
