The publication “Time use survey in 2023”, which presents the results of the time use survey of the population, carried out between 1 January and 31 December 2023, is another study on this topic. The previous edition of this survey took place in 2013. This survey was conducted based on the methodology recommended by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat). The results of the time budget survey provide information on the organisation of household members' time and form the basis for inferences about many aspects of the population's quality of life. The publication also presents data on the subjective assessment of time use, assistance to other households and institutional volunteering, valuation of household work, as well as a satellite account of household production. Comparing the results of the 2023 survey with those of the previous 2013 survey provides an opportunity to observe changes in time management during a period of significant social and economic change in our country.
