Accidents at work in the first quarter of 2023 - preliminary data

14,300 persons injured in accidents at work were reported in the first quarter of the first quarter of 2023 (of which 40 persons while remote work), by 28,7% more than in the first quarter of 2022. The number of injured persons per 1,000 employed persons (the incidence rate) increased from 0.82 to 1.00.
In the first quarter of 2023, the largest number of victims were recorded in accidents at work with other effects – 14,206 (a 28.8% increased compared to 2022). 32 persons were injured in fatal accidents, while 62 persons sustained injuries in serious accidents (increased of 10.3% and 19.2% respectively).
