Data presented comes from the reports of the National Bank of Poland and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, but also from international institutions, such as the International Monetary Fund, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the European Commission and the International Labour Organization.

In the publication there are presented main trends of the banking sector, analysis of the financial results of Polish banks and financial standing indicators. Statistical Annex (also in electronic form) includes assets balance, profit and loss and cash flow statements as well as capital adequacy of particular groups of banks.
