Registrations and bankruptcies of enterprises in the second quarter of 2026

In the second quarter of 2025, there were 80 566 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 9.2% registrations less than in the corresponding period of previous year and 94 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 4 bankruptcies more than in the second quarter of 2025.
The number of business registrations in the second quarter of 2026 amounted to 80 566 compared to 88 728 in the same period of the previous year. More than half of all registrations concerned three kinds of activity: services (25.7%), construction (19.5%), and trade; repair of motor vehicles (12.6%). Registrations fell across all sections compared to the second quarter of last year, with the largest drops in other sections (by 13.8%), industry (by 11.7%), and the trade; repair of motor vehicles section (by 10.7%).
