Registrations and bankruptcies of enterprises in the third quarter of 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, there were 85 368 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 27 registrations more than in the corresponding period of previous year and 101 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 3 bankruptcies less than in the third quarter of 2024.
The number of registrations of enterprises in the third quarter of 2025 amounted to 85 368 compared to 85 341 in the same period of the previous year (1.0% year-on-year decrease was recorded in the third quarter of 2024). More than three-quarters of all registrations were in four kinds of activity: services (25.2%), construction (19.1%), other sections (18.9%), and trade; repair of motor vehicles (12.1%). In the third quarter of 2025 – similar to the third quarter of the previous year – year-on-year growth in registrations occurred in services (13.4% in the third quarter of 2025 and 3.1% in the third quarter of 2024, respectively) and in other sections (growth of 8.2% and 7.0%, respectively). A decline in the number of registrations was observed in other analyzed kinds of activity, the largest in trade; repair of motor vehicles (22.5% compared to 3.9% year-on-year decrease in the third quarter of the previous year).
