Cattle population[1] in June 2025 reached 6 147.2 thousand heads and was lower by 3.0% compared to June of last year. The decrease in the total number of cattle herd resulted from a decrease in the population of all heard age groups.
In June 2025, the cattle population was 6 147.2 thousand heads and was by 188.6 thousand heads (3.0%) lower than a year earlier, while in comparison to the number of the head size in December 2024, the population was by 43.7 thousand heads decreased (0.7%).
