In 2019, 78.5 thousand out of 89.4 thousand of active non-profit organizations cooperated with other entities, i.e. 0.6 ppt more compared to 2017. These organizations most frequently cooperated with public institutions (81.2%). As many as 71.2% of the cooperating organizations declared the absence of barriers to cooperation (73.8% in 2017).

In March 2020, in connection with the dissemination of an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, referred to as COVID-19, Poland declared an epidemiological threat, followed by the state of an epidemic. From March to August 2020, 14.1% of non-profit organizations undertook additional activity due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Most frequently, they included social services (63.3%) or material support (40.7%). During this period, the organizations provided a total of PLN 383.3 million in the form of tangible and financial support.

In Q3 2020, a decrease in the number of unemployed and economically inactive persons and an increase in the number of employed persons compared to Q2 2020. A decrease in the ratio of non-working age population to working age population was also observed.
