Compared to 2022, cargo traffic through Polish seaports increased while both passenger movements and the number of ship arrivals in seaports drecreased.

The publication presents information on the state and protection of the environment, human capital (including demographic processes and labour resources), inhabitant's quality of life, economy (including processes related to the development of entrepreneurship, implementation of investments, production and services), public finances, spatial planning and revitalization in Podlaskie Voivodship.

Report on the socio-economic situation of Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship 2024

The Statistical Office in Poznań presents you with the latest edition of the Report on the socio-economic situation of Wielkopolskie Voivodship. The publication, as every year, contains characteristics extensively describing the level and trends of development of our province, offering analytical content enriched with tables, charts and choropleths.

The study consists of analytical commentaries together with maps and graphs showing trends observed over the past few years and, additionally, cross-section tables for the Voivodship and its capital city illustrating the level of the phenomenon against the whole country and other voivodships, as well as detailed tables for the Voivodship. Basic methodological explanations can be found in the analytical part. In relation to the prior years’ editions, the study has been enriched with additional issues and encompasses key divisions of the official statistics grouped in thematic chapters, i.e. environment, society, economy and finances of the local government units.

The thematic layout of the publication allows for the effective identification of the development needs of Mazovia and supports regional analyses carried out in order to monitor the implementation of public policy assumptions. The analysis was made in various territorial sections, which enabled the presentation of differences in the social and economic development of the Voivodship. The analytical text of the study was enriched with tables and a graphic presentation in the form of maps and charts, which allows for a quick and effective perception of statistical information, as well as spatial relations of phenomena presented by them.
