According to the EDP notification, in 2018 the general government deficit was equal 7 987 mln zl (0,4% of GDP), while the general government debt amounted to 1 034 358 mln zl (48,9% of GDP).

According to the final estimate gross domestic product (GDP) in 2017 grew by 4.9% against 4.8% previously published. The real growth of GDP in 2018 did not change and it was 5.1%.

In March 2019 retail sales1 at constant prices were by 1.8% higher than the year before (against a growth of 8.8% in March 2018). Compared with February 2019 retail sales increased by 13.5%.
