In 2022, there were more dwellings completed than the year before. Whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun decreased.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in December 2022 increased compared to November 2022 by 0.5% and compared to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year - by 20.4%.

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in December 2022 by 0.8% lower than in the same period in 2021 (an increase of 3.1% in the corresponding period of 2021) and by 17.3% higher compared with November 2022 (an increase of 22.9% in the corresponding period of 2021).

In December 2022 retail sales at constant prices were by 0.2% higher than the year before (against an increase of 8.0% in December 2021). Compared with November 2022 an increase by 13.1% in retail sales was recorded. In the period of January-December 2022 sales increased y/y by 5.0% (in 2021 a growth of 8.1%).

In December 2022, sold production of industry was by 1.0% higher than in December 2021, when an increase was recorded by 16.3% as compared to the corresponding period of 2020, whereas in comparison with November 2022, it decreased by 6.4%.

According to preliminary data, in December 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 14.3%, and in comparison with November 2022 - by 0.5%.
