Cattle population in June 2024 reached 6 335.9 thousand heads and was lower by 0.4% compared to June of last year. The decrease in the total number of cattle herd resulted from a decrease in the population of all heard age groups except calves less than 1 years old.

According to preliminary data, the population of pigs in June 2024 was 9 132 thousand heads showing a decrease of 3.2% compared to the analogical period last year. The reduc-tion in numbers occurred in three groups of pigs, in particular in the pigs, from 20 kg to less than 50 kg, where it was 6.9%.

In the first half of 2024, the financial results of cultural institutions increased compared to those obtained in the corresponding period of the previous year. Total revenues increased by 17.1% in this period, total costs increased by 16.8% and investment outlays decreased by 13.0% during this period.
