Monthly activity report of enterprises, which presents information on a survey conducted by Statistics Poland, constituting the basic element of short-term surveys of activity of enterprises.

Flash estimate of the consumer price index in September 2019

Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in September 2019, compared with the previous month, decreased by 0,1% (price index 99,9), and compared with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 2,6% (price index 102,6).

Revised estimate of gross domestic product for the year 2018

According to the revised estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in 2018 increased by 5,1% to 2017. The growth has not changed compared to previously published on 23rd April 2019.

Price indices of residential premises in the second quarter of 2019

Prices of residential premises in the second quarter of 2019, compared with the previous quarter, incresed by 2.3% (of which on the primary market - by 1.6% and on the secondary market - by 3.0%). Price indices of consumer goods and services in September 2019

Consumer prices in September 2019 remained on average at the level similar to the one recorded in the previous month (with a decrease of prices of services – by 0,2% and prices of goods remaining at the same level). Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 2,6% (of which services – by 4,8% and goods – by 1,8%).

Price indices of sold production of industry in September 2019

According to preliminary data in September 2019 the prices of sold production of industry were higher in comparison with the previous month by 0.4%. In comparison with the corresponding month of the last year the prices increased by 0.9%.

In September 2019, sold production of industry was by 5.6% higher than in September 2018, when the growth was recorded by 2.7%, whereas in comparison with August 2019, it increased by 10.7%. In the period January-September of 2019, sold production of industry was by 4.5% higher than in the corresponding period of 2018, when an increase of 5.9% was recorded.

According to the EDP notification, in 2018 the general government deficit was equal 5 036 mln zl (0,2% of GDP), while the general government debt amounted to 1 035 254 mln zl (48,9% of GDP).

In September 2019 retail sales at constant prices were by 4.3% higher than the year before (against a growth of 3.6% in September 2018). Compared with August 2019 retail sales decreased by 4.1%.
