Foreign trade turnover in total and by countries in January July 2016
From January to July of 2016, exports at current prices amounted to PLN 455339.5 mln, while imports amounted to PLN 436501.5 mln. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 18838.0 mln, while in the previous year PLN 7158.9 mln. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2015, exports increased by 5.6% and imports by 3.0%.

Index numbers of industrial and construction-assembly production in August 2016
In August of 2016, sold production of industry was by 7.5% higher than in August of 2015, whereas a decrease of 20.5% was reported in construction and assembly production. In the period January-August of 2016, sold production of industry was by 3.7% higher than in the corresponding period of 2015 which saw a 4.5% increase, whereas construction and assembly production was by 14.9% lower than in the corresponding period of 2015 which saw a 3.7% increase.

Labour Force Survey (LFS) is a sample-based survey, conducted by statistical interviewers, who visited the sample households, encouraged the members to take part in the survey and assisted in completing a form. A sample household represents many other households with similar features. Each answer counts, therefore the participants who took part in the survey are due to special thanks. Without their participation in a voluntary survey, it would not be possible to observe changes in the contemporary society.
