On May 10, 2022, the premiere of the latest version of The Polish organisations and institutions abroad and Polish diaspora organisations and institutions database will take place.

The database has been created since 2014 on the basis of data collected as part of the permanent study "Poles and Polonia in the world." The new version will provide more functionality for data recipients and will be available in two language versions - Polish and English.

The Polish organisations and institutions abroad and Polish diaspora organisations and institutions database contains a summary of the most important data on Polish diaspora organizations and the activity of the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad. It is a systematic, functional, easily accessible and relatively comprehensive information and ordering tool. It is primarily used to easily locate an entity or a selected group of entities based on specific territorial, chronological and factual features. 

The latest version of the database will contain as many as 8.9 thousand entities located in 115 countries. In addition to the currently functioning Polish organizations and institutions, the database also contains historical information of great importance for the Polish national heritage.
