Global and sector indicators of energy efficiency (70), their analysis, methodological notes, definitions of terms. Indicators constitute a tool for trend evaluation in the field of energy efficiency on macro scale as well as in individual areas of economy, enabling the evaluation of the effects of activities and programmes in terms of energy efficiency.

In the publication, the entities with different growth potential, such as high-growth, growth, stable, declining and rapidly declining, were distinguished from the population of non-financial enterprises with 10 or more persons employed, that keep books of accounts. Basic data including revenues, costs, investments, total fixed assets, number of persons employed, wages and salaries as well as selected indicators were presented for this group. Moreover, for all population of non-financial active enterprises and newly-born (“births”) and liquidated (“deaths”) non-financial enterprises were presented basic variables from the business demography.

These are input-output tables compiled according to the SNA/ESA methodology.

The price dynamics and levels in basic areas of the national economy. Data on price levels and indices, including harmonised (according to the Eurostat methodology) indices of consumer prices (HICP) and economic relations from price survey by Statistics Poland, as well as information obtained in cooperation with banks and other institutions.

Risks arising from work environment, strenuous work and mechanical factors associated with a particularly dangerous machinery, benefits for exposure to physical health risk factors, compensations for accidents at work and occupational diseases, the number of employees exposed to risk factors, occupational risk assessment of workstations.

Number of employees, and the number and structure of vacancy, including newly created posts. Information on liquidated workplaces.

The publication consists of methodological notes, comments to tables, analytic chapter and statistical tables and graphs (in Polish and English). The presented data concern unemployed persons registered in powiats labour offices and searching a job through these offices. The information on the unemployed is presented by sex, age, level of education, duration of unemployment, regions, voivodships, subregions, and powiats.

It contains basic indices of the socio-economic situation of the country, presented in the monthly, quarterly and annual series, including, among others, the national accounts, information on demography, the labour market, wages and salaries, social benefits, prices, money supply, public finances and finances of non-financial enterprises, investment outlays, agriculture, industry, construction, transport, domestic and foreign trade, along with monthly or quarterly data characterising the socio-economic situation of voivodships and EU countries.
