The aim of the survey "Benefits for the family" is to obtain information on the size of expenditure from the state budget and local government units allocated for cash benefits addressed to persons and families in the form of family benefits, alimony fund benefits and pro-family reliefs. The survey also aims to provide information characterizing the beneficiaries of the benefits mentioned.

Today, Professor Stanisława Bartosiewicz, honorary doctorate holder of the Wrocław University of Economics and laureate of the Decoration for Merits to Statistics of the Republic of Poland, celebrates her hundredth birthday. On this occasion, we wish Professor Bartosiewicz many more happy years in health and much satisfaction from all life achievements and further fruits of scientific activity.

The publication includes data concerning non-financial enterprises having foreign entities: number of enterprises, kind of activity, affiliation to enterprise groups, type of relationship with foreign entity.

The publication presents information about enterprise groups operating in Poland by type, size and country of location of the ultimate parent unit (global group head). The information concern, among others, the number of persons employed and the kind of activity of the group.

Data on the number and structure of population, including residents by sex and age in regions, subregions and voivodships (by urban and rural population) and in powiats, urban gminas and rural gminas of the country as of December 31, 2019.
