The value of total assets collected by investment funds at the end of December 2019 amounted to PLN 314.2 billion (an increase by 0.5% compared to the previous year). In 2019, investment funds achieved a positive result on operations in the amount of PLN 13.4 billion (PLN 6.0 billion more than in the previous year). The value of the funds' investments increased to PLN 282.0 billion (by 3.0%).

Foreign trade turnover1 in the January – June this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 480.4 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 458.4 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 22.0 bn, while in the same period of 2019 year amounted to PLN 1.3 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2019, both exports and imports decreased by 5.3% and 9.4% respectively.

The price index of consumer goods and services in July 2020 as related to June 2020 amounted to 99.8 (price decrease of 0.2%).

Consumer prices in July 2020 compared with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 3,0% (with an increase of prices of services – by 7,3% and goods – by 1,5%).

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was lower by 8.2% in the 2nd quarter of 2020 year-to-year against 4.6% increase in the corresponding period of 2019.

In May 2020, 387.2 thousand tourists were accommodated in tourist accommodation establishments and 925.2 thousand overnight stays were provided for them.
