Prices of residential premises in the second quarter of 2020, compared to the first quarter of 2020, increased by 2.0% (of which on the primary market - by 0.4% and on the secondary market - by 3.2%). Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019, prices of residential premises increased by 10.9% (of which on the primary market - by 5.3% and on the secondary market - by 15.4%).

In the first half of 2020, 7.3 million tourists were accommodated in tourist accommoda-tion establishments and 19.4 million overnight stays were provided for them. Compared to the same period 2019, this was lower by 54.3% and 51.5% respectively. Compared to the first half of 2019, the occupancy rate of accommodation establishments also de-creased from 37.6% to 23.8%.

According to the revised estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019 increased by 4,5% to 2018. The result has changed compared to previously published on 22th April 2020 by 0.4 percentage points.

Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in September 2020, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 3,2% (price index 103,2), and as related to the previous month increased by 0,2% (price index 100,2).

In 2019, PLN 10.3 billion was allocated to support families in Poland in the form of family benefits, and they were used on average by nearly 1.9 million beneficiaries monthly . Benefits from the alimony fund were paid in the total amount of PLN 1.1 billion. As part of the government programme "Family 500 plus", PLN 30.5 billion was spent on child-raising benefits. In 2019, PLN 10.3 billion was allocated to family benefits aimed at providing financial support to families with children and people with disabilities. These benefits were used on average by 1.9 million beneficiaries monthly, and an average of 4.2 million benefits were paid during the month. Expenditure on family benefits was dominated by expenditure on assistance addressed to families with children, i.e. family allowances with supplements, subsidies due to giving birth to a child and parental benefits – 50.8% of the total amount of expenses. However, expenditure on assistance for the disabled, i.e. on attendance benefits, accounted for 49.2% of the total amount of expenditure..

In 2018, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in the 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.
