Structure of wages and salaries by occupation for October 2024

In all major occupational groups, the average monthly wage and salary for October 2024 increased compared with October 2022. The smallest increase was recorded in the occupational group of Managers – 21.0%, and the largest in the occupational group of Elementary occupations – 33.4%.

The ‘Survey on the Structure of Wages and Salaries’ provides data on the differentiation of average monthly gross wages and salaries by occupation. In this news release, the data are broken down by major occupational group, in accordance with the Classification of Occupations and Specialisations (KZiS)/the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08). Data for sub-major and minor occupational groups will be published in an analytical publication scheduled for release in February 2026.

The average monthly gross wage and salary for October 2024 for employees from the major occupational group of Managers was 41.7% higher than the average wage and salary in the second highest-paid group – Professionals (in 2022 it was 48.7% higher). Compared with the lowest-paid occupational group – Elementary occupations, the average wage and salary in the occupational group of Managers was 265.7% higher (in 2022 it was 292.9% higher).
