On the last day of October 2025, the population of employed persons in the national economy was 15 121.5 thousand, i.e. 0.2% fewer than in October 2024. Compared with the previous month, their number was at a similar level.
The data refer to employed persons in the national economy, living in Poland or abroad. Each employed person is identified once – in the main job.
Among all employed persons in the national economy, men constitute the majority. At the end of October 2025, their share was 52.6%, which was 0.1 percentage points (pp) lower than a year earlier and 0.1 pp lower than a month earlier.
Compared with October 2024, the number of employed women was at a similar level, while the number of employed men decreased by 0.4%. Compared with the end of September 2025, the number of employed women increased by 0.1% and the number of employed men decreased by 0.2%.
