Activity of leasing companies in 2021

The survey covered 85 enterprises conducting leasing activity in 2021. Throughout 2021, the surveyed enterprises concluded 659 thousand new lease agreements for 782 thousand assets/items leased. The value of concluded contracts in 2021 amounted to PLN 71.7 billion.
The surveyed entities (lessors) were represented by capital companies: 56 limited liability companies, 26 joint-stock companies and 3 other legal forms. For 23 of these enterprises leasing was the only type of their activity, for 38 - the dominant type of the activity, and for 24 enterprises it was their peripheral activity.
